The the 69th meeting of the Implementation Group (IG), at the Norwegian Defence University College in Oslo, Norway

Between 2-4 March 2026, a delegation from “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy participated in the 69th meeting of the Implementation Group (IG), organized within the framework of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Military Officers (EMILYO). The event took place at the Norwegian Defence University College in Oslo, Norway, bringing together representatives from military and academic institutions across numerous European countries.

The programme included plenary and thematic sessions dedicated to the progress of the Lines of Development, presentations of ongoing projects, and planning of future activities, as well as workshops for the development of common modules and meetings of the Lines of Development coordinators.

A highlight of the meeting was the official dinner, during which the Commandant (Rector) of “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy was awarded the title of Honorary Member of the EMILYO Implementation Group, in recognition of his contribution to the development and consolidation of this European initiative.

Participation in the conference provided the delegation with the opportunity to strengthen professional cooperation with partner military institutions and to actively contribute to the continued development of the EMILYO programme.
